Description The Enterprise Platforms Support and Delivery team’s mission is to help enable the Platform Engineering teams to effectively empower their stakeholders with disruptive technology. As a Support and Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable and predictable support for, and delivery of, the engineering platforms for Nike Technology. This is an opportunity to become part of a team from its inception. You will have the ability to help shape the direction of the organization towards its results and leading towards the overall results of Enterprise Platforms.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Establishing and catalyzing standards for support remediation and resolution
  • Helping to facilitate conversations around the establishment and enforcement of Service Level Agreements
  • Establishing and catalyzing standards for a platform’s journey from inception to GA, ensuring supportable and consistent delivery
  • Working with Release Management, ensuring release readiness for the platforms
  • Ensuring platform release is done within Nike’s global change process
  • Actively seeking collaboration opportunities with external teams to leverage instruments, technologies, and learnings for the betterment of the organization
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are well documented, understood, and adhered to by the engineering teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent industry experience (10+ years)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating remediation and resolution of incidents and problems for complex engineering systems
  • A strong understanding of monitoring systems including industry standard tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic, and Splunk
  • A strong understanding of software delivery pipelines and CI/CD methods and standards
  • Extensive experience working with Change Management organizations and processes
  • Extensive experience working within Agile development environments
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment
  • 5+ years leading and facilitating engineering meetings
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing standards around support procedures for engineering organizations
  • A strong understanding of various operational readiness standards for engineering platforms
