General Summary:

The Finance Director is responsible for delivering timely and insightful financial modeling and analysis in order to drive profitable growth of the KEEN brand and provide visibility to the alignment of our long-range planning goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, seasonal & annual analysis to measure KEEN’s financial performance against KPIs, Annual Budget, Forecasts and Long-Range Plan (LRP)
  • Develop and distribute global financial reporting, informing leadership on business performance and profitability.
  • Manage monthly forecasting process for KEEN Global.
  • Responsible for detailed budgeting and forecasting of Sales, Margin, Expenses, and Income Contribution by Business Unit and by foreign subsidiary to ensure alignment with consolidated strategic plan.
  • Partner with the business to ensure Global Financial representation in the seasonal revenue and margin targeting process.
  • Prepare and report summarized variance data and commentary for board reporting as assigned.
  • Develop reporting and analyses that support the review of fully allocated category profitability.
  • Proactively utilize financial analyses to identify issues and provide recommended solutions.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests in a timely fashion with accurate and relevant data.
  • All other projects as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • 10+ years of experience as an analyst, preferably in the footwear and/or apparel industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in margin and/or inventory analysis with experience in seasonal margin targeting preferred.
  • 5+ years of financial modeling experience.
  • Strong IT skills. Demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, and SAP. SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding and experience using reporting tools such as Business Objects and BPCs.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of data flow and storage in an enterprise database system.
  • Effective communicator with a customer-oriented approach in order to communicate cross-departmentally and with all levels of management. Strong written and verbal skills are essential.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
